The Clean Cities program focuses on five technologies:

Alternative fuels and vehicles (biodiesel, ethanol, electricity, liquefied petroleum gas, and natural gas)
Hybrid electric vehicles
Idle reduction technologies
Fuel economy measures
Low-level fuel blends
