Melissa Jamison
Clean Cities / Planning Fellow
Melissa Jamison is a Clean Cities Intern at Centralina. She is an undergraduate student at UNC Charlotte studying earth & environmental science and is set to pursue a master's in environmental studies. Her passion is for social and environmental justice in the community. She led a sustainability-focused Alternative Service Break trip for her college, as well as helped organize environmental justice volunteer events for her fellow students through the Environment & Animals committee on SERVE Team. Her interests also lie in the Women's Energy Network and Women in Clean Energy. She has worked with the Citizensâ Climate Lobby to advocate for renewable resources and lobby in Washington, D.C., and has a dedication to building her leadership skills to better educate the community on sustainable practices.
