Interview With CCFC's Chairman Chris Facente

Chris has an extensive background in various areas of the automotive industry including technician (ASE Master Certified), sales, instruction, service management, and fleet management.  Chris came to the CCFC as a fleet manager for UNC Charlotte. As a fleet manager, the UNC Charlotte fleet was recognized for five years in the 50 Best Green Fleets ranking as high as 9th and in the 100 Best Fleets ranked as high as 84th. Since then, Chris has become an Automotive Instructor for Central Piedmont Community College. He has extensive OEM maintenance and fleet experience, having worked for 3 different OEMs during his career. He enjoys driving his Tesla Model 3 when his wife isn't using it.

His hobbies include martial arts and he is also an amateur race car driver. He is married to Gabriele and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
